MORE BIRDS AFTER THE STORM

Tomorrow I hope to get some Great White Egrets and also the Snowy Egret…perhaps even a Great Blue Heron.  The White Ibis come in large flocks while the Great Whites and others  come one at a time..sometimes two will be out there but not often.

I’m waiting for the wind to die down and the rain to diminish so I can go outside and get pictures of the debris and birds after the storm. It’s still dark out there and there’s no way I can go out for another couple of hours.

Tropical Storm FAY- It Didn’t Reach Hurricane Force

The storm never got to hurricane strength of 75 MPH so we’re all doing fine.  We started hearing the strong winds at 3-4AM and from then on it’s been very windy and lots of rain.  I’ve taken the dogs out twice and they don’t like it at all.
