MACRO SETUP for Inside Flower Pictures

Here’s how I take my macro flower pictures. Here’s my setup.  I put the table next to a window and get good light. I don’t use any flash. I make sure the black coreboard and the flower are facing the light. I also use a Plamp to hold the flower and to attach it to the coreboard. That’s a Nikon D2X DSLR camera with a Nikon 105mm F2.8 VR lens.

I usually buy a bouquet of flowers at the grocery store and then take pictures of the flowers..so they serve two purposes :-)

And the tripod is a must. I’d never attempt to get a macro flower picture without using a tripod.  The  breeze makes it almost impossible to get good flower pictures outside ..Sometimes I take outside flowers into the house and get pictures of them there.

Tomorrow I’ll post more of the flower pictures that I’ve gotten with this setup.
