I had planned to post this tomorrow. The Sandhill Cranes mate for life so I guess these two are a ‘happy couple’………they’re going for a stroll and I think this pictures tells a nice story.
Got this with the Nikon D3, Nikon 180mm F2.8 AF lens with the Kenko 1.4 teleconverter attached.

Sandhill Crane doing Hokey Pokey :-)
When I saw this picture on my flashcard I thought immediately that the bird was doing a dance.
Got this with the Nikon D3 and Nikon 180mm F2.8 AF with the Kenko 1.4TC.
Most of the pictures are dark because the birds were under the trees in total shadow. I did convert this to black and white [...]
