This is the largest Hibiscus I’ve ever seen. I just wish the photo showed the dimensions. It had to bave been twelve + inches across. The color was a beautiful, deep red…I’ve never seen anything like this one. Of course, I wish it were a better picture. I got it in Michigan and I’m no longer there to measure the flower
Here’s another Hibiscus I got in my yard. This was taken in the early morning before the flower opened. It was covered with rain drops. I titled it ‘Morning Promise’ because the beauty was unfolding and would be completely visible by sunrise.
Visuallens has posted some beautiful Hibiscus and has also written an interesting story about them. I had no idea they were used for the purposes that are in the writeup..

Beautiful hibiscus flowers. As there are so many type of hibiscus and I think this is another species. The red color flower and stigma look different that I posted.
