I search my city for things to take pictures of and then when walking the dogs yesterday I came across this flowering tree right in my own backyard…It’s time for me to look ‘close to home’ and maybe forget the outside world for awhile. This Hibiscus was right by my back door.. So perhaps the saying ‘the grass is not greener on the other side’ is true. However,my dogs are convinced that any grass away from ours is better…

Hibiscus is our national flower. This pink one looks different from those over here.

) The ones on this Hibiscus tree are the prettiest, most delicate pink I’ve ever seen.
Thanks ! We have many varieties of Hibiscus here and they’re all beautiful. This one is on a tree at the corner of my house. Many others are bigger and have a big variety of beautiful colors.
