WORKOUT SHOES-Nikon D3,Tamron SP180mm F2.5 LD (IF) Lens

It’s time to workout on the treadmill so got this picture with the Nikon D3 and the Tamron SP180mm F2.5LD  (IF) lens.  This is a special edition lens made for the Tamron’s 35th anniversary. I think this lens is #77. Not sure how many they made.  It’s one of my favorite lenses and I’ve gotten many good pictures with it. It is AIS and manual focus.  I picked it up on Ebay a long time ago.  I don’t know how many were made for the special edition.  It was made in the late 80’s.

  • I have this lens as well. I have the Pentax PK/A and PK mount as well as the Canon EOS-m mount for it and my other Tamron lenses. Apparently Tamron made 3000 copies of this lens in 1988 as a 35th anniversary series. Those are spread out among all mounts, Nikon, Pentax, Canon, Olympus, Minolta, Contax etc.
