It’s time to workout on the treadmill so got this picture with the Nikon D3 and the Tamron SP180mm F2.5LD (IF) lens. This is a special edition lens made for the Tamron’s 35th anniversary. I think this lens is #77. Not sure how many they made. It’s one of my favorite lenses and I’ve gotten many good pictures with it. It is AIS and manual focus. I picked it up on Ebay a long time ago. I don’t know how many were made for the special edition. It was made in the late 80’s.

I have this lens as well. I have the Pentax PK/A and PK mount as well as the Canon EOS-m mount for it and my other Tamron lenses. Apparently Tamron made 3000 copies of this lens in 1988 as a 35th anniversary series. Those are spread out among all mounts, Nikon, Pentax, Canon, Olympus, Minolta, Contax etc.
